Plastivision India 2013 expects to provide business opportunities worth Rs 6,000 crore
The All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA) is set to host its ninth edition of Plastivision India from 12-16 December at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.

AIPMA expects the upcoming five-day international plastics exhibition and conference would provide business opportunities worth Rs 6,000 crore across 500-600 deals for the plastic product manufacturers in the country.
Plastivision is organised by AIPMA once in every three years since 1986.
Raju Desai, chairman of Plastivision India 2013, said, “Countries including the US, UK, China, Germany, Singapore and Taiwan will be here with their delegations. They are interested in Indian products and machinery. Some of the firms might even look for technology partners besides forming joint venture.”
Plastivision 2013, will see participation of over 1,500 exhibitors from 45 countries. The event will mainly comprise of live demonstrations of machines for moulds, packaging, printing and product. It will also display processed finished products in segments including packaging, automobile, engineering, infra and agriculture. This year, it will also have a dedicated job fair helping industry to identify qualified candidates.
Meanwhile, AIPMA urged the Andhra Pradesh government to expedite the proposed plastics park near Hyderabad. It would accommodate 2,000 manufacturing units spread across 1,000 acres. The state annually consumes 3,70,000 tonne plastic products.
The ninth edition of Plastivision India, is expected to have even better response with the exhibitor area of around 70,000 sq/m, covering six halls and two hangars.
Exhibitors exhibiting at the ninth edition of Plastivision India include Reifenhäuser Marketing India, Uflex (Engineering Division), Windmoller & Holscher India among others.
