The two-day conference will have a special focus pre-Drupa on the first day and green printing on the second day.
Kiran Prayagi, head of pmIndia said: "Drupa 2012 is a good time to equip oneself with new technology and trends. The first day titled Pre-Drupa Day will have presentations on future trends for printing in packaging like digital, flexo and gravure, security and brand protection along with an interactive session on customer expectations from Drupa 2012."
Green Packaging Printing Day will be the theme of the second day of the conference where delegates will get to know about implementation of green printing through Indian case-studies.
"We are trying to make the conference India-centric and grasp the vicissitudes of our own reality," said Prayagi.
The Indo-German conferences, hosted by pmIndia are a joint venture of world renowned university in modern printing and media technology, the ‘Institute for Print and Media Technology at Chemnitz University of Technology’, Germany and the leading printing consultant in India ‘Graphic Arts Technology & Education’. These conferences bring together experts from the European and Indian printing industry to discuss the science and technology involved and to provide expertise in the area of special applications.
Like the first edition, the official media partners for the conference is PrintWeek India.
