Messe Dusseldorf's two shows, Pack Print International (PPI) and Food Processing and Packaging Exposym 2013 (FPPE) are hoping to tap visitors from India.
Pack Print International (PPI) which takes place every two years in Bangkok is a regional trade exhibition developed by the printing and packaging industry in Thailand in partnership with Messe Dusseldorf Asia and has been scheduled ffrom 28 to 31 August, 2013.
The show will provide a forum for companies to showcase innovative and cutting-edge designs and processes, and profile their expertise to a market ready to embrace new, creative and novel ideas. The trade fair is dedicated to serve the packaging and printing industries in Southeast Asia and beyond.
With 200 exhibitors from 20 countries, PPI 2011 attracted 16,360 attendees which was a four fold increase in international visitors compared to 2009.
Another show which will provide opportunities for the ones outside the Asian markets namely in the continent of Africa is the Food Processing and Packaging Exposym 2013 (FPPE).
FPPE 2013 is being organised from 26 to 28 November 2013 in Nairobi, Kenya, by an international consortium of leading organisations and trade fair professionals. The initiator is StarlingExpo together with Messe Düsseldorf. The exposyum is aimed at manufacturers of machinery, plants and processes, as well as the food and food processing industry.
During the event, the entire process from the first processing steps, to filling and packing, right up to logistics is highlighted against a backdrop of specific business structures, developments and needs on location. As an international platform, FPPE 2013 will provide a variety of possibilities for presentation, networking, information and discussion. New manufacturing processes, marketing ideas and sales concepts will also play just as big a role as the diverse opportunities, which the African continent will offer.
Parallel to the exhibition, the Save Food initiative is organising a symposium on the topic of food losses. The focus is on extensive studies by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). These will be presented by participants using concrete examples, detailed facts and up-to-date figures and then be opened up to discussion.
