The three- day event will feature the latest and innovative corrugated equipment and technologies. The expo will be held in concurrence with the India Corrugation Summit, organised by the Indian Corrugation Case Manufacturing Association (ICCMA), which will feature discussions, sessions and interactive Q and A’s focussing on challenges faced by the sector and the road ahead.
IndiaCorr Expo is an Indian version of the Sino Corrugated, China, the world’s leading corrugated manufacturing show. As an Indian extension, the event offers competitive edge by providing excellent networking opportunities, technological updates and industrial updates.
According to the organisers, the motive behind organising an expo similar to the grounds of a Chinese exhibition is to promote the automation in the Indian corrugation industry.
In the present scenario, corrugation industry in India is growing at a rate of 12% and currently values over 14 billion USD. Around 90% of the Indian corrugated plants are semi-automatic.
With the changes in the FDI policies made recently, international brand manufacturers have planned to make India their manufacturing base. This move is expected to transform 50% of the corrugation plants in India into fully automatic.
The exhibition is expected to be attended by around 200 delegates from corrugated box manufacturers, offset printers, paper mills, industry consultants and designers.
