Datta Deshpande, director, Pratham Technologies said, “We have been participating in every Pamex as we feel it helps us to reach out to our customers better. Since the show is being held in Mumbai, it was an added advantage for us since the major packaging players are from in and around the city.”

As per the demand from customer, the system is available in various models, starting from a single camera up to three cameras and from both front and back side.

Pratham has manufactured Supersort 100% carton inspection system in collaboration with Vision Experts, wherein the software and illumination system is made in Germany while feeder, inspections conveyor, ejector and the other supplementary systems is manufactured at Pratham.

Speaking about the advantages of the machine, Deshpande said, “The illumination system and the software by Vision Experts, who has more than 20 years experience in the industry, are used in the machine, making it one of the best in its segment.” He further added, "The ejection system employs a non-contact air ejector that is much faster.”

The speed of the machine is 200m/min. It works out to be 50,000 cartons per hour for smaller cartons and 20,000 cartons per hour for larger cartons. The machine can handle a maximum size of 500X500 mm.
