Bobst team will demonstrate the most cost-effective per 1000 sheets die-cutting machine NovaCut 106-E as well as unleash folding prowess of its ExpertFold 111 A-2 machine.
“The basic aim to hold this open house before PrintPack India was to invite many new customers to our facility at Pune and to exhibit our core competence in the converting process,” said Venugopal Menon, vice president for BU sheetfed-Indian Sub-continent at Bobst. “While at PrintPack India, we want to convey the message to all our valuable customers that being cost-effective and productive is the key to face challenging times, here at the open house, they can see the possibilities and solutions which can help them in their businesses.”
According to Menon, the key trend one is seeing today is a definite shift towards automating finishing processes to reduce dependency on labour and zero-fault packaging. “Packagers want productive and reliable equipment to meet the just-in-time (JIT) deliveries and price pressure demands are driving them to save on wastages. Bobst has the necessary solutions that can add value to our customer’s products.”
Bobst, which was present at Drupa 2012 and produced a perfect ‘10’ with its announcement of ten machinery sales, plans to showcase the innovations it brought at Drupa also to PrintPack India. “It will be done in a very novel way. As of now we want it to be a surprise for the visitor,” concluded Menon.
