In addition, the company will also launch a shaft-less Prima tower.

Asked if PrintPack India would be able to showcase new dimensions for the print and allied machine manufacturers like Drupa, Satish Bajwa, chairman and managing director, Pressline, said, “Many new technologies that we saw at Drupa are not meant for the “aam” printer and developing countries like ours. We need to showcase new equipment suitable for the majority at shows like PrintPack, which is emerging as one of the biggest exhibitions for the industry in South Asia.”

“Indian printers are experts to use local technology or what is fondly referred as "jugad", in several manners. To cut costs, they can work out several shortcuts. For example, if they can’t afford proper chilling system for their offset machine they will use ice in the circulating tank or maximum they will hook up their water circulation to a local made chilling cabinet, which is one-fourth the cost of conventional chilling systems,” he said while explaining few interesting practices he has seen during his industry visits.
