This year's theme, Print@2030, reflects KMPA's commitment to empowering its members. Over the years, this initiative has expanded in alignment with the philosophy of empowering members to transition from printer to product creator.

Print & Beyond was launched by KMPA in 2014, as a unique effort to familiarise the Kerala printing industry with the latest technological innovations in the global printing arena.

The seminar aims to answer questions about the evolution of print domains, the obsolescence of certain technologies, and the prosperity of specific areas are challenges even for industry experts.

Raju N Kutty, chairman, Print & Beyond 2024, said, "We are expanding Print & Beyond, striving to establish it as a premier event in India. The seventh edition in 2023 concentrated on the theme Print Post-Covid: Opportunities & challenges featuring sessions led by notable figures from our industry."

The event will consist of interactive sessions as well as presentations from industry experts.

Louis Francis, president, KMPA, will kickstart the event with a welcome address followed by an introduction to Print & Beyond by N Kutty.

Ramu Ramanathan, editor of PrintWeek and WhatPackaging? magazines, will weave together expert insights in a captivating session.

Divya S Iyer, managing director of Vizhinjam International Seaport, will deliver the inaugural address, while Raghbendra N Dutta Baruah, president of the All India Federation of Master Printers, will share the federation's perspective on Print@2030.

Industry leaders like Arvind Sekhar of Sai Packaging Co, Sahil Rao of Unbox, Anuj Bhargava of Kumar Labels, and Prof Rajendrakumar Anayath will offer practical insights and actionable strategies.

The seminar serves as a tribute to the late Jose Joseph, the founder of Printers Castle, whose immense contributions continue to inspire the association and the industry.
