Print Anytime by Madona fuels quality with Canon

Kottayam (Kerala)-based Print Anytime by Madona, a one-stop source for complete print solutions encompassing commercial prints, large-format graphics, and more, has invested in a Canon ImagePress V800 digital production printing system. 

Founded in 1994 by Gigi George, Madona has been serving a vast client base comprising big brands, businesses, and individuals from different walks of life. “Our expertise in the industry allows us to constantly innovate in accordance to our clients’ demands,” Geo Grigory, George’s son, who joined Print Anytime by Madona as a second generation in the business, said. 

Currently, Madona runs three production units strategically dotted across Kottayam. One unit is for digital large-format printing to produce signage graphics and such applications, while the other two are for commercial printing. 

“Two advanced digital colour production printing systems, a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2070 and the newly installed Canon ImagePress V800, are at our commercial printing units. The new Canon system is the key to printing short-run promotional products for businesses and individuals at Madona Colour Press, one of our commercial printing units,” Grigory said.

According to Grigory, ImagePress V800 stimulates the overall print quality and textures in wedding cards. He added, “We are proud of being the first owner of this advanced Canon V series digital colour production printing system from Canon India in Kottayam district of Kerala. We opted for this digital press for its transformative capacities to deliver vibrant prints in high speed and exceptional consistency.”

Packed with advanced features and capacities, the ImagePress V800 performs at the speed of 81-ipm, delivering graphic prints in resolution of 2400x2400-dpi. The press boasts highly accurate and consistent registration on larger and heavier printing media, flexibly supporting stocks up to 350gsm covers and others including envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets. It boasts a maximum feeding capacity of 10,400-sheets. 

Supported by a team of 35 printing and production professionals, besides being a treasure trove of wedding cards, Print Anytime by Madona caters many other products such as letterheads, business cards, calendars, diaries, photo-books, and so on. Grigory announced that with the right blend of creativity and advanced machines like the new Canon ImagePress V800, they further look ahead to amplifying more in product offerings and innovative print production.
