Neeraj Madan, proprietor, Print City Digital Press, said, “I want to increase my production capacity to deliver the production at the earliest because our clients do not have enough time to wait and they want prompt results. Konica's technology and KMI’s pre-and after-sales services has been upto my expectations since the time I have installed my first digital production press, KMC7000, in 2012.”

Madan started his business in 1995 as a screen printer.  Speaking about his entry in digital print production business, he said, "Digital printing presses are creating new opportunities for us as we used to leave short-run jobs earlier because offset technology does not make it feasible."

He opined that digital has not eaten offset market, and thus the digital printing presses have opened a new vertical of production.

"Digital printing equipment are really made for today’s requirement with less turnaround time, consistent quality and number of products as per customers’ demand," he added.

Commenting on the new press, Madan said, "The printing press is capable enough to print up 350gsm media. I want to go in to volume market and that’s why I went for KM C8000. I will also opt for another latest machine by Konica in near future as they are planning to launch a new product."

"Volume market is our target now and high end machines are capable enough to meet our demand. Currently, we are doing 2,000 A3 sheets per day and now I will print 5,000 A3 sheets per day after installing the KMC 8000," said Madan.

He further added, "We have plans to open more printing outlets in the area to service the customers at their place. Our present focus is on these retail shops because they will require more machines."

Digital print production company operates 12 hours a day with a team of 12 in 80 yards for 80 regular customers. The company targeting a turnover of Rs two-crore for this year since the company had achieved Rs 40 lakh last year.
