Print Expo 2023: Xerox showcases transition in colour prints

The company demonstrated print innovations and software solutions for a personalised experience with end-to-end production technologies ranging from the Xerox flagship Iridesse production press with the ability to print 10 colours, six in a single pass, Versant 280 and PrimeLink C9070 both with 11 colours options and four speciality colours in a single pass that will redefine the digital colour prints with fluorescent colours complemented with the brilliance of white and metallic hues of gold, silver enhanced with clear output for their customers backed with the benefits of automated workflows resulting in lower cost and optimum utilisation of their invaluable time. 

The exhibition provided an excellent platform to view the state-of-art production offerings from Xerox powered by the latest EFI Fiery digital interface, backed with a range of software solutions, and dazzling metallic and unique fluorescent prints. 

Talking about the fluorescent theme," Shankaracharya Laskar, director, technology and channels, Xerox, said, “At Xerox, scientists have been working hard to make fluorescence available in printed form, with speciality toner. Using Xerox’s Adaptive CMYK+ kit for the Xerox Versant or PrimeLink printers, graphic designers can now more easily print using fluorescent cyan, magenta, and yellow. The kit adds seven speciality colours and transforms a Xerox four-colour printer into an 11-colour Beyond CMYK printer capable of creating more than one million colour hues- something that doesn’t exist with our competitor machines.”

He added, “A suite of production print devices, workflow solutions, and high-value applications segments – catalogues, books, transactional marketing, wedding albums, photos, and packaging – will be displayed on the Xerox stand. Attendees will learn how automated, integrated end-to-end solutions strengthen and transform operations. PrintExpo was a critical event for all print machine providers, allowing them to showcase their products to customers.”
