Top print firms vouch for Metamation’s IMP software

Hyderabad-based Pragati Offset, Ahmedabad-based Printvision and Mumbai-based Repro India are among the key users of Metamation’s software solutions.

IMP is a fully automatic, intelligent planning and PDF imposition software, which is JDF certified and can also seamlessly integrate with pre-press systems.

Ahmedabad-based Printvision bagged an order valued Rs 5mn, thanks to the planning capabilities of Metamation’s IMP, said the director Falit Pandya. He added, “We are able to offer lower price to our end customer while retaining our margins. IMP has automated our entire production process and eliminated imposition from pre-press.”

Pragati Offset has been using IMP since last four years and has implemented IMP in its packaging unit’s workflow. Harsha Paruchuri of Pragati Offset, said, “IMP allows us to plan our packaging jobs seamlessly across the stock available – both sheet and reel stocks. The resulting plan is sent across to our Esko workflow, where the final artworks are merged with the layout plan and sent for ripping and platemaking.”
