With an attempt to attract printers and graphic communication professionals, the new pavilion will focus on profit opportunities by showcasing specialty printed products, which will enhance print providers' revenue and help build their bottom line.
Speaking to PrintWeek India Ralph Nappi, president, Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), said, “We expect more than 200 visitors for PRINT 13. The show will provide Indian printers a look at the newest technologies in digital, wide format, post-press and flexo that they will have had the opportunity to see in two years. During my recent visit to PrintPack, many groups including IPAMA, AIFMP and NIPA all expressed great enthusiasm in hosting delegations to PRINT 13 in Chicago this September."
Explaining the concept of the speciality printed products, Nappi added, "One encounters specialty printing every day, from hotel key cards to labels to ad specialties. Producing or outsourcing these items offers printers and other graphic communications professionals an opportunity to build sales, serve customer needs, and grow profits.”
These speciality printed products include tickets, tags, labels, plastic cards, stickers, specialty envelopes, decals, awards, apparel, games, drink ware, writing instruments, mouse pads, key chains, sports items, textiles, luggage tags, trade show handouts and much, much more.
According to industry research, 90% of consumers currently own a promotional product they received in the last 24 months and 89% can recall the advertiser featured on the product.
Besides Sidelines, the re-imagined show floor of Print 13 includes few other pavilions such as Deliver for mailroom systems, Photo Finish for services related to photo, photo book, wide format and all-sized imaging, Future Print focuses on new technologies catering to printed electronics, 3D printing etc. In addition, show will feature Marketing, The In-Plant Place and News Print pavilion.
