Print Pack Sign Digital 2014 kicks off at Ahmedabad

The sixth edition of the Print Pack Sign Digital was inaugurated today, 17 January 2014, by K S Khurana, president IPAMA; S R Sharma, past president AIFMP; C P Paul, general secretary IPAMA and Manoj Mehta, past president AIFMP.

The three-day exhibition from 17-19 January at Ahmedabad has been organised by N Parmar Expositions, which is spear headed by, N Parmar, editor and publisher of Printing Samachar magazine.

“The show is titled as ‘the vibrant show of the vibrant Gujarat” to reflect the growth prospects of the print industry in Ahmedabad region. It has been growing at a tremendous pace,” said Parmar, the organiser of the show. “Compared to the previous year, which had 99 exhibitors, this year we have received entries from about 100 exhibitors and, that too, with a variety of machines at display,” added Parmar.

K S Khurana, at his inaugural speech quoted, “The Print Pack Sign Digital is playing an important role in promoting the Indian printing, packaging, signage and graphic industry in western region, both in terms of quality and quantity. The Indian printing industry is growing very fast and in order to incorporate the latest state-of-the-art technology developments, the companies are giving priority to R&D and cost effectiveness, which is a healthy sign.”

C P Paul, chairman of APL Machinery, also an exhibitor at the show, said, “Gujarat is the most preferred state for establishing new manufacturing units, keeping in view the out-swing in the infrastructure development. It is also on top agenda of Indian Printing Packaging and Allied machinery Manufacturers Association (IPAMA), both from investment point of view as also for putting up new manufacturing facilities.”

Proteck Machinery, Monotech Systems, TechNova, Vallava graphics, Welbound Worldwide, and Megabound among others have presence at the show. The three-day show is expected to have a footfall of about 12,000 visitors.
