Print Summit 2012 opens with a rousing day one
The first day of BMPA's Print Summit 2012 begun on 23 February at the NCPA's Tata Theatre in Mumbai with chairman of the organising committee, Fred Poonawala making a welcome speech to the crowd of 400 describing Print Summit as "synonymous to Swiss knife that provides various tools to survive in print."

51 print CEOs, tech-gurus, industry leaders and top print buyers will celebrate the future of print over a period of two days.
The opening and the welcome speech was followed by commemorating the school kids of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM) trust with a monetary donation to support the activities of the trust in creating free educational institutions.
Speaking about the initiative, the BMPA committee members considered it as “BMPA’s small effort to give back to the society.”
It was after this commemoration that the co-founder of Next Practice Retail and Crossword, R Sriram presenterd a keynote addressing the crowd on the opportunities that India has to offer.
Voicing the conference theme of ‘let's make a difference’ Sriram emphasised on the need of entrepreneurship as a way forward for the print industry.
Next Practice Retail offers business design, incubation and consulting services for consumer and retail businesses.
