The SSRVM trust in Dharavi will be honoured by BMPA committee members where 228 children attend the school in Asia’s largest slum. Till date SSRVM provides education to 18,000 students through 54 Bal Mandirs, eight colleges, 46 Vidya Mandirs, and 103 colleges.
Speaking about the initiative, the BMPA committee members had unified view: “The SSRVM trust thrives under the vision of ‘education being a vehicle for transformation or metamorphosis of the self and an aid to the growth of economy.’ We all strive to fulfil our dreams. But to fulfil another’s—isn’t that something?. It’s BMPA’s small effort to give back to the society.”
The two day Summit will host four panel discussions and a series of high octane presentations.
