Print Summit to sharpen focus and open minds
23 January 2020 is undoubtedly going to be another happy and knowledgeable experience, where the likes of Gaur Gopal Das, Vivek Krishnani, Manish Sharma, D Shivakumar, Naresh Kumar, and more, will help you pare down the threat posed by disruptive forces of technology that is challenging print business, and the general gloom and doom felt in the economy.

“Through the presentations, the fourteenth edition of Print Summit 2020 (PS20) aims to turn the focus back on print, and how it is even more relevant,” said Faheem Agboatwala, a member of the PS20 organising committee. “We are going to put the audience through a rigorous conference, part educational, part business, and part fun, to prove that print is even more relevant today, in a serious way.”
D Shivakumar, or Shiva as he is popularly known, is currently group executive president at Aditya Birla Group for strategy and business development. He will kick-off the PS20 proceeding with his key-note address by presenting ideas about ‘business outlook’. Shiva writes and regularly teaches on topics such as innovation, leadership, followership, business models, digitisation, and more, across leading business schools in the world.
Living by the mantra ‘think like the navy, deliver like the pirates’, Josy Paul’s presentations inevitably evoke a highly positive response. A successful, creative entrepreneur who set up arguably one of the most successful advertising agencies of our time, will underline the ‘power of print’ through his talk.
According to Agboatwala, gone are the days of collecting and analysing business data in large spreadsheet files. “Contemporary businesses, large or small, operating in the rapidly evolving and changing marketplace, need the assistance of intelligent and advanced data-analysis tools to ensure sustainable business growth.”
Kaushal Sampat, senior advisor at Rubix Data Sciences, will introduce the audience to ‘using data and artificial intelligence to avoid customer bad debts’.
Besides other exciting presentation, BMPA’s Iqbal Kherodawala will moderate a panel packed with high-profile print CEOs comprising Manish Sharma, co-founder, Printo/Canvera; Akshay Kanoria, executive director, TCPL; Naresh Kumar Dasari, MD, Macro Media Digital Imaging; and Pragnyat Lalwani, director, Seshasai Business Forms.
Kherodawala, a printerpackaging converter by profession and an avid writer and presenter at PS, will discuss how to unfold the secrets of ‘the art of enabling success through delegation’.
Agboatwala’s advise is: Mark your diary. “The PS 20 on 23 January 2020 could turn out to be the essence of wisdom, which could open new ways to empower yourself, and your business.
