Security Paper Mill (SPM) in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh, a unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India (SPMCIL), wholly owned by government of India, ministry of finance, engaged in manufacturing bank note/security paper has invited tenders for the supply of web inspection systems.

The requirement by SPM is for a web sheet inspection system with packaging line for security/currency paper. Interested tenderers can submit their bids before 3 April, 2015. 
 


Kerala Books and Publication Society (KBPS) in Ernakulam, Kerala has invited tenders for the supply of Harris web offset high speed four colour process inks for cyan, yellow and magenta units for the year 2015-16. The cost of tender forms for the same are, Rs 7000, Rs 9200 and Rs 7000 respectively exclusive of taxes.
 
KBPS is spread across 3.97 hectres of land. The major printing works undertaken by KBPS are printing of textbooks and lottery tickets. The society in its present capacity can print around 20 lakhs textbooks in a month with two shifts in operation under ideal conditions. In addition to the above, the society is carrying out the printing of various government department and universities.
 
Its press setup includes a Harris M-300 web offset printing machine and several four web offset,  two sheetfed offset printing machines, one label printing machine, two HMT sheetfed offset printing machines, three HMT letterpress machines. Post-press setup includes, one Muller Martini saddle stitcher, two Brehmer saddle stitchers, one Sulby perfect binder, and four thee-knife trimmers.
 
In its second tender request, KBPS has invited tenders for the supply of graphic art chemicals, rubber blankets, CTP plates, G.I round stitching wire for its Kakkanad plant.

Jammu & Kashmir bank, has invited proposals for the printing, personalisation and supply of 25,000 mastercard credit EMV cards with magstripe, 100,000 mastercard debit EMV cards with magstripe, 300,000 maestro magstripe cards, 50,000 Rupay magstripe cards and associated collaterals and PIN mailers.
 
According the notice, the quantities can be increased or decreased by 20%. 
 
Inorder to be eligible for the tender, the bidder/consortium member should have its own manufacturing / personalisation capacity of a minimum of 500,000 a month and should be able to scale it to 1000000 a month, if required and also the bidder/consortium member should have ISO / security certification.
