The company displayed their dion 450, a four colour sheetfed offset press; Reckoner VDP 65, a variable data inkjet printer and a Finecoat 65, an offline UV coating machine.
“The response for the dion 450 has been overwhelming and we see the demand for our VDP machine has also been constantly on the ascent,” said PS Balasubramanian, executive director, Autoprint machinery.
The Reckoner VDP 65 allows variable data printing like numbering, barcoding, addressing, logo printing etc. and can print on paper from 45-350 GSM paper.
“With the increased educational awareness and shifting of lines in the expectation level from individuals, we see a significant reduction in manual labour available for the traditionally labour intensive jobs like numbering and that is where a cost-effective VDP machine like the Reckoner is ideal,” explained Balasubramanian.
Talking about their expectations from the exhibition, he said, “Like every year we have started the exhibition with specific targets, and this year we are expecting at least 150 potential visitors per day and a prospect ratio of 10%”
The company’s stall witnessed a footfall of around 200 visitors per day.
“The feedback and interaction with our customers during these exhibition is immense and as indigenous print equipment manufacturers the challenge is to provide innovative products at most affordable prices,” he concluded.
