“The south Indian states have been one of our strongest and fastest growing markets and this exhibition has been an ideal platform for us to connect with our clientele every year,” said Pankaj Kalra, associate director, Xerox India.
The popular Xerox 1000 made its presence felt along with the newly launched Xerox 770 digital color press, targeting the photo market and books on-demand (BOD) segments respectively.
“The feedback for the recently launched Xerox 770 has been fantastic and that is reflecting by the numbers in the last quarter alone,” he explained.
The Xerox 770, which prints at a speed of 70 ppm has the unique feature of an automated color quality suite (ACQS) with its inline spectrophotometer and a host of inline finishing options(for booklets, catalogues etc.) like creasing, stapling, punching and trimming.
“At a unique price point, the 770 offers a wide range of capabilities and lets the printer have a complete production line,” said Kalra.
“The holistic approach from Xerox also helps our clients to keep scalability in mind even when they have to start with minimum investment using our certified economic value programme,” he added.
Talking about key strategies for the ongoing year, he said, “The focus for southern markets is now to identify and strengthen our channel business along with emphasis on our business development tools and education/training programmes,” concluded Kalra.
