PrintExpo 2017 kick starts in Chennai

The three-day event from 18 to 20 August 2017 is taking place at Hall 1 in Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai.

“In terms of pre-registration, this is one of our best years with more than 4,000 visitors registered online. This is 25% more than the previous year. We expect to break the 14,000 mark in terms of visitors this year,” said Ashok Neelkant, managing director of Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions, organisers of the event.

The event which has a reputation of being digital-heavy has the digital leaders like Canon, Epson, Ricoh, Xerox, Konica Minolta, and Monotech among others as part of this years’ show.

A total of 122 exhibitors representing over 200 companies are participating in the exhibition.

The trend of printers’ presence at the show also continues with Lovely Offset joining the likes of Shree Maruthi Printers and Zig Zag Printers.

“While it is expected to have visitors from all southern states, we were surprised to get registration from as far as Haridwar, Delhi and from Maharashtra. We are also expecting visitors from Sri Lanka and Nepal too,” Neelkant added.
