“As a high-end stitching machine, both the models of Hohner has been hugely successful for us. We have close to 70 installations of the machine throughout India,” said Uday Grover of Gayathri Machineries.
The company claims to sell on an average of ten of these machines every year.
“Apart from the stitching machine, we have also found a market for Hohner stitching heads, which we aim to sell about 2,000 heads every year by 2020,” said Grover.
The company currently sells the heads to some of the leading notebook manufacturers in India averaging at around 1,500 heads per year.
“We have plans of introducing a few interesting products in the coming months apart from our recent launch of a Taiwanese-based wiro punching machine for which we have two installations so far,” added Grover.
