Printland bags Red Herring Top 100 Asia 2013 award

Printland Digital India (Printland.in), the New Delhi-based web-to-print service provider, has been recognised with the Red Herring Top 100 Asia 2013 award for for excellence in innovation and technology.

The Red Herring 100 Asia 2013 award is conferred on top 100 companies across Asia, which have excelled in disrupting their respective industries and gaining substantive traction. Printland is among the 26 Indian companies in the top 100 list of 2013 and the only Indian company from printing industry. The award ceremony was held on 5 September in Honkong.

Speaking to PrintWeek India, Sandeep Behl, chief executive officer, Printland, said, “This award is a validation of our strong belief that by creating a solution based on integration of three technologies namely internet, IT and printing, we will be able to bring a wide variety of quality printing from a central hub of New Delhi to the doorstep of our customers, who are individuals, SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and corporates.”

According to Behl, the central printing hub in New Delhi ships over 10,000 orders per month over a variety of more than 100 different kind of products.

Established in 2012, Printland is an online printing company which offers a wide product range on its web portal for online purchase throughout the country.

“In recent months, we are surprised that even large businesses are embracing the new internet transaction mechanism and appreciating the professionalism and transparency being brought in by us,” concluded Behl.
