Apsom Infotex

Apsom Infotex, the 1993 established company deals in digital printing, computer aided sign making and CAD software and peripherals for various vertical industry segments. The company among others represents Roland DG, Matan, Colorjet and Multicam. At PrintPack India, Apsom will showcase a range of wide-format printers like ColorJet’s Neptune and Star; Roland’s VersaArt RS640S, VersaCamm VS-640 and VersaUVLec-330. According to Gulshan Kumar, there is a reason why Apsom is present in most of the tradeshows. "These tradeshows provide us with a unique opportunity to gauge what the wide-format industry needs and showcase such products."



Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers

Established in 1985 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Autoprint is an Indian manufacturer of small sheetfed offset printing machines and offset continuous stationery printing machines, sheetfed offline numbering machine, sheetfed offline variable data printing machine, sheetfed offline aqueous/UV coating machine and sheetfed offline automatic flat bed die-punching and creasing machines. Autoprint also represents Vacuumatic sheet counting machines in India.
Autoprint will be launching three new products: Autoprint Fine Coat 50 flexo coater with the maximum sheet size of 18x20 inch that can take substrate of 50 to 350gsm and runs at 5000 sheets per/hr suitable for small offset machine users, screen printer, service providers and high-end digital production presses; Autoprint Fine Coat 65 flexo coater with the maximum sheet size of 19x26 inch size that can take substrate of 50 to 400gsm plus the Autoprint Reckoner VDP 65, besides five of its other products.



Bobst India

Bobst India will be showcasing post-press machines in the folding carton segment. "The machines on display are the best sellers – NovaCut 106-E autoplaten die-cutter and high speed top-end folder-gluer ExpertFold 110 A-2," said Venugopal Menon, vice president for business unit – sheetfed, Indian sub-continent at Bobst.
Bobst also plans to showcase 2x jobs running throughout the show and one of the jobs to be processed on the folder gluer will a unique box to be processed for the first time in an Indian exhibition so far. This job will showcase the process knowhow of Bobst and capability of Bobst equipment to take any kind of challenges. Another first time in a show in India as claimed by Bobst is a display of all the quality control systems possible on a folder-gluer with auto ejection system, the flipper (finger) ejector.
Bobst will have at their booth, process specialists from India and Switzerland for post-press operations in folding carton to answer all queries of the visitors.



Canon India

Canon India will be launching the ImagePress 7010 VP at the show. The press was first shown at the Ipex 2010. The 7010 is a successor to the 7000 which was launched as the firm’s first production colour digital press four years ago. Besides the 7010, Canon will also be showcasing the Imagerunner Advance 8105, its wide-format printer IPF 8300 as also Canon’s Direct Smile solution with Printshop Mail.



Capital Graphic Supplies and A S Print Aids

Capital Graphic Supplies was launched in 1965 and A S Print Aids in 1985, both established to cater to the newly emerging market for consumables. Today the group represents some of world’s top most technologies for digital finishing, mailing, binding, die-cutting and packaging industries. The group also provides full technical support. At the 44 sq/mtr stall, the group will be showing the Ecologica, a fully automatic bending machine from Serviform, Italy and a rull range of die-making products from Cito Systems, stell rules from Martin Miller, Austria, Nic Grinder and rotary waste stripper from Nor-Graphic, Norway. Also present at the stall will be representatives of Cito System, Germany, Hunkeler Far East, Hong Kong and Serviform, Italy.



Creed Engineers

Creed Engineers is a sales and service provider to the Indian printing and packaging industry.  Founded in 1993, the New Delhi-based Creed provides support and services through its offices and branches in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Gurgaon. The  firm has also expanded activites overseas in countries like Sri Lanka dn Bangladesh.
At the show, Creed will showcase the Schneider Senator cutting machine and will also introduce a range of security inks from Petrel.
Our mission is to lay specific emphasis on new and emerging technologies and stay ahead by constantly keeping in step with the latest developments in the industry," said Ranesh Bajaj, managing director of Creed.



EskoArtwork

EskoArtwork, a global supplier and integrator of solutions for packaging value chain will present demonstration of Suite 10 software workflow through a live demo pod. Also on display would be Kongsberg i-XE10 running live for cutting and creasing of folding cartons, litho laminated corrugated cartons, varnish blankets as well as kiss cutting and through cutting of labels. The machine is equipped with an i-Cut camera which compensates for distortions on substrates during print process resulting in production quality. EskoArtwork Suite 10 software workflow includes all the design, prepress, colour management and output software solutions which would be demonstrated live during the show.

Global Imaging Technologies

Pune-based Global Imaging Technologies (GIT) is a developer of software used in printing, publishing and electronic documents.
Company speak The firm will be showcasing its flagship product, GIT-RIP, which is based on Harlequin RIP. "Till now no one was selling RIP directly as OEM," says Arun Bhardwaj, CEO and executive director, GIT. He adds: "GIT will focus on upgrade and software piracy with special pricing to cater to this segment." The firm will extend this special pricing to its customers during the show.

Grafica Flextronica

Vasai-based Grafica Flextronica manufactures screen printing and allied machinery like cylinder presses, flatbed and semi-automatic screenprinting machines, UV/IR/Jet air dryers and complete screen making set up. The company also provide training on screen printing through its training institute Dhirubhai Mistry Institute.
"There has been a growing trend of many offset printers and packaging printers embracing screen printing process for carrying out print finishing in-house instead of depending on outsourcing. With this background, we anticipate a positive response at PrintPack India, especially the cylinder press which is now most sought after machine among the packaging printers. We also anticipate tremendous response especially after recently launching the new Nano-Print Plus which is quite useful to printers who deal in spot UV and print finishing in a small scale," says Bhargav Mistry. Grafica will be holding live demos of its cylinder presses and the Nano-Print series, including the newly launched Nano-Print Plus.


Indo European Machinery (IEM) and Peco Industries

Bengaluru-based IEM will focus on the revived Peco Industries and its products. IEM will get a full-fledged facility in Bengaluru. Peco will offer a complete range of conversion machinery after printing like paper-cutting, paper folding, paper bag making and envelope making. It will also offer entry level book binding equipment, die-cutting machines, folder and gluing machines, foiling and embossing, coating and laminating machines.


Kodak India

Kodak will showcase its complete range of printing, packaging and workflow solutions. Kodak will display the Kodak NexPress SE3000 Digital Production Color. The machine will demonstrate its application capabilities like dimensional raised prints, match spot colours, add watermarking or a protective coating, print MICR jobs, and create high impact glossing. The machine provides customised solutions for book publishers, transactional printers, and photo book printers. It will also display the latest Kodak Trendsetter 400, now in smaller size and improved scalability. It is also Kodak’s most popular CTP model in India.

Line O Matic

Line O Matic Graphic Industries is engaged in manufacturing of fully automatic exercise book machine, automatic reel to sheet ruling machines, automatic counting and folding machines, A4 / A3 cut size sheeters with automatic ream wrapping, folio size sheeters and other exercise-book making machines. Till date, Line O Matic has completed more than 1,200 successful installations of its machines worldwide.
At PrintPack, Line O Matic will be launching the Nova series. The product on display will be Nova RB104.
Line O Matic will demonstrate live their Nova RB104 fully automatic exercise book machine during the PrinPack 2011.

Manroland India

Moving away from the traditional show formats, Manroland’s stall, through its VAP (Value Added Printing) theatre will showcase the printing systems its been producing since 1845. "With a wide range of printing technology solutions tailor made for the Indian market, Manroland is well equipped to showcase its process competence to the Indian printing industry. At PrintPack India 2011, Manroland will present its product portfolio across newspaper, commercial web, and sheetfed offset sectors. And Printvalue offers a unique spectrum of services such as on-site service, upgrades and original spare and wear parts. Consulting and workflow management solutions will also be highlighted at the booth. "Our new show concept is designed to emphasise our holistic range of print solutions to meet changing consumer demands," describes Anil Bhatia, managing director of Manroland India.

Mehta Cad Cam System

Mehta Cad Cam Systems is one of the oldest company in the signage industry having 26 branch offices. Among other products, Mehta Cad Cam deals in CNC routers, laser engraving and cutting machines, Aoke flatbed printers, Dream jet printers, Plasma cutting machines. Mehta, which also represents EFI for its Restek products recently introduced the hybrid UV flatbed printer H650.
Company speak According to Shailesh Mehta of Mehta Cad Cam, the market for UV printers is rapidly growing because of the special advantage it offers not only to the signage industry also the glass, packaging and photographic industries.

Micro Inks

Micro Inks will be showcasing Maxxima, the new recruit to the range of Incredible sheetfed inks; range of UV inks for sheetfed and screen applications, publication and flexible packaging ins. Besides, Micro’s services like ATM and Ink Academy will also be on display. According to Ashwani Bhardwaj, managing director at Micro Inks printing press manufacturers are changing the demands on the ink through the ever increasing press speeds. "The market is evolving towards short-runs, with even higher quality standards in shortening lead times. Micro Inks has topped the Rs 1,600-crore revenue mark during 1990-10. It has been regularly upgrading its facilities, pumping in an investment of Rs 40- to Rs 50-crore each year. Micro has recently established a mother plant for UV at Daman, while its project for liquid inks production is up and running.

Nippon Color

Nippon Color will be representing Kodak for its platesetters, Presstek and Cron at PrintPack. Within a month of the newly acquired dealership of Cron UV CTP, Nippon Color has installed three machines at Jayant Printery at Mumbai, Surya Colour Scan in Delhi and Image Scan in Bengaluru. The company will also be representing Luscher UV CTP of which it has done more than ten installations in India including the most recent – of two such systems at Temple Packaging.
Regarding participation at PrintPack, Jayant Pardiwala, proprietor of Nippon Color said: "PrintPack is the only show where we participate. We feel the print market in North is the biggest in India and PrintPack provides us an opportunity to utilise its potential."  

S L Kulkarni Cyril Graphics (SLKCG)

SLKCG will demonstrate Metan’s multi-function semi-automatic flute laminator, pre-print proofing machine for all substrates using environment friendly inks. "The semi-automatic flute laminator is a versatile machine that would complement an automatic flute laminator very well and a must for every corrugated box manufacturer," said Vinayak Munipalli. "Ease of operation is the key feature. And the machine can handle low grammage top sheet and in two-up production format." In addition to above, complete information on the Goss range of web offset presses, Yawa range of post-press packaging machinery will be available at the booth.

TechNova

TechNova will present the Alinte HD at the show along with VioGreen, which is TechNova’s chemistry-free violet plate. Over all, TechNova has notched up over 100 violet CTP installations in India.
The Alinte kit with a dual laser is powered by FFEI and is capable of producing 34 plates per hour. According to S Swarnangka, general manager at TechNova, "One of the factors for our range of violet devices has been the readiness for chemistry-free plates." Besides, he claims, the high speed option can take Alinte to higher productivity levels of 50 plates per hour.
TechNova’s "Go Green" stall will also show its wide range of plates and consumables.


The Printers House

The Printers House (TPH) is one of the largest manufacturer-exporters of newspaper web offset presses in India with 7,000 installations in nearly 40 countries. The six decade old company also has a marketing JV with KBA of Germany, under which it markets KBA web offset machines in India and TPH their machines in several countries. At PrintPack India 2011, TPH will be showcasing its latest 50,000cph Orient X-press web offset press comprising of 1x Hi tower, 1x1:2:2 folder and 1x auro reel changer. TPH will also carry out printing demonstrations during all the six days. Jagdeep Singh, general manager sales at TPH, says: "We are excited to be offering this powerful machine at the show." He adds: "We are always looking to present something new at PrintPack and we believe that the visitors and our customers will see great value in our latest press."


Welbound Worldwide

Welbound Worldwide, one of the leading bookbinding machine manufacturer will display its range of solutions for automatic folding, signagure gathering, perfect binding and three-knife trimming machines. This Printpack, will see Welbound entering the realms of technical publishing; with the launch of the book - Bookbinding with Adhesives by Tony Clark, considered to be the best reference guide on adhesive binding. This PrintPack will also mark the launch of India’s first, high speed, PUR perfect binder, the WB3600-PUR 12 clamp offline perfect binder, the PUR technology being supplied by Robatech of Switzerland.
