The PrintPackDaily is printed on April’s PaperOne Premium Inkjet 100gsm paper. The paper is supplied by Narsingh Dass & Co, one of the company’s representatives in New Delhi.
According to GS Srinivasa Rao, regional head for paper, India & Subcontinent at April International, Premium Inkjet is engineered for modern high-speed continuous speed (web) inkjet machines. “The surface of the paper is treated with ProDigi Nanotechnology, which propels a distinctive density, colour and sharpness advantages.
Premium Inkjet is a high-bright white shade paper. Rao claimed the paper is produced using 100% ECF pulp from renewable plantation fibre. “This paper is alkaline sized to meet ISO 9706 for archival quality.”
April’s pulp and paper mill located at Pangkalan Kerinci in Riau Province, Indonesia is capable of producing up to 2.8 million tonnes of pulp and over one million tonnes of paper per year.
Rao added, “The mill uses world-class engineering and technology to produce quality pulp and paper products sold around the world. We operate the mill on the principles of ‘lean manufacturing’, which results in efficient practices in the use of energy and water and in minimising emissions.”
April's other product, PaperOne Offset, is a premium offset paper brand, which is used by many leading printers and publishers for high demanding high speed book printing jobs.
