PrintPack 2017: Excel to introduce 28x40-inch die-cutter
During PrintPack India 2017, to be held at Greater Noida from 5 to 8 February, Gujarat-based Excel Machinery will introduction its new Maxima, a 28x40-inch automatic die-cutting machine with stripping. Besides this, the company will exhibit its regular Maxima EXB35 machine.

Jitendra Patel of Excel Machinery said since its success during last PrintPack, in the last two years, the company expanded its factory space, workshop machinery and experienced labour to meet the increasing demand for the Maxima EXB35.
This time around, the company is introducing a bigger size. “”There has been a constant demand from our client for a bigger size. Looking at the demand, we did our researched and manufactured the machine,” Patel added. The machine comes with a speed of 7,500 sph.
The company has been attending the show since 2005. The year, Excel will be present in a stall admeasuring 153 sq/m.
Excel is professionally managed organisation engaged in the manufacturing of die-cutting machine for the last 28 years and automatic die-cutting machine since 2005. “We are the pioneers in introducing automatic die-cutting machine in India with quality comparable to any internationally manufactured machine, and that too at economically viable rate. In a short span, we have installed 140 Maxima EXB-35, with 22 repeat orders,” Patel said. Last year, the company sold 26 machines.
According to Patel, the industry was looking for a locally made bigger size of machine comparable to any imported machines. “We are happy with the product. The new machine will cater to this demand and give best quality production at a lower cost compared to imported machine of the same size,” he added.
Patel said the company is changing with time and updating its product from time to time as per feedbacks from clients. “Technology change is nothing new to us. We are changing with it. We are the only indigenous manufacturer of this size and type of machine comparable to international quality,” Patel stressed.
Now, the company is looking forward to introducing the new machine to its customers at PrintPack 2017. Patel said the previous editions of the exhibition have been fruitful for the company. “We received very positive response from the industry. We were appreciated for our products and we received some spot orders. We booked five machines in the last exhibition,” Patel said.
He added that PrintPack is the best place for the company to showcase its new product. “We have no competition from any indigenous manufacture. So we are sure we will beat the market. This is also good for clients who are looking for bigger size indigenously produced machine,” he said.
