PrintPack 2017: TechNova to signal its digital intent
TechNova has signalled its intent of becoming a much bigger player in the digital solutions space. Outlining its plan for PrintPack India, TechNova has revealed that it will showcase an extensive range of digital solutions from its multiple alliance partners, covering digital prepress, software, digital press and digital postpress enhancement solutions.

TechNova, for the first time, will be demonstrating the entire suit of Esko software solutions as well as Enfocus’ range of software. It will also demonstrate Agfa’s range of pre-press as well as security solutions. Esko’s popular XE10 cutting table will be running live at the stand. TechNova will engage visitors with Enfocus PitStop solution while it expects Enfocus Switch to generate a good amount of interest too.
With Agfa’s Arziro, TechNova will offer security solutions like anti-counterfeiting and tracking for packaging and commercial application, and with the latest version of Apogee it hopes to attract customers wanting to implement its latest version to build offset and digital hybrid workflows.
“With these products, we are perfectly placed to meet the digital needs of print production,” said Puranjit Sarangi, general manager, Digital Imaging Solutions at TechNova
TechNova will be advocating digital UV applications from MGI with the JetVarnish 3D and 3DS models. "We will be showcasing capabilities of MGI's robust production capabilities and unique digital foil applications. This is the next level of digital enhancement offset and packaging customers require," said Amritpal Bawa, national business development manager at TechNova.
Holding centre stage in the post-press section of the TechNova stand will be Duplo’s DC646. Running live, the automated compact digital document finishing solution is capable of 25 cuts, 8 slits and 20 A3 sheet creases per minute in one go. “Its barcode scanned accuracy is a unique feature that eliminates wastages,” said Ajay Nagar, manager, Digital imaging solutions at TechNova. “We have quite an enviable list of Duplo users like Star Xerox and Dina Color Lab, who have opted them for the highest level of accuracy and robustness and we expect this to be a crowd puller.”

TechNova will also be running live, the Konica Minolta C1100 digital production press. “Customers are preferring TechNova for our capability to understand and address offset customer’s unique needs and high volume services ” Vivekanand Singh, manager, business development, responsible for Konica Minolta sales, at TechNova and Praveen Agarwal, DGM, digital services at TechNova, said in unison.
Other products on display include thermal and violate platesetters powered by Amsky and ECRM respectively, and TED, TechNova’s digital services dashboard launched recently. “TED offers a unique experience and business control on any TechNova digital solution that you purchase,” concluded P Ramkumar, national manager services, digital imaging solutions at TechNova.
