Jitendra Patel, managing director, Excel Machinery, said, “Since the last Printpack exhibition, we have expanded our factory space, workshop machinery and staff to meet the increasing demand of our regular model Maxima EXB35 machine and recently launched the bigger-sized Maxima HS1020.”

The Maxima HS1020 offers a speed of 7,500 sph and comes with the stripping attachment.

According to Patel, the machine provides good cutting and creasing quality. It also has a lesser makeready time which is required in repeat jobs due to its 4+1 mm attachment.

Excel has already installed three Maxima HS1020 machines in India and has installed 30 machines in the year 2018, adding to the tally of a total of 207 installations.

Patel added, “I expect growth in our business as our machines are comparable to the imported machine of this kind and economically priced.”

“The India packaging sector is growing at a rate of 14-15% and likely to double in the next few years. Most commercial printers are entering in packaging segment with big investment.”
