PrintPack 2019: Heidelberg to debut PrintPack with Easymatrix equipment
Heidelberg India will participate for the first time at PrintPack India exhibition with post-press and finishing machines from MK Masterwork Machinery

Easymatrix 106 die-cutting machine with stripping facility
The exhibitor will showcase Easymatrix 106 FC foiling machine and Easymatrix 106 die-cutting machine with stripping facility and run three demonstrations of each machine on all days of the show.
The Easymatrix 106 C/CS features an output of 7,700 sheets per hour and short set-up times. It processes materials from 90 to 2,000 gsm and corrugated board up to 4mm thickness.
The Easymatrix 106 FC foil stamping equipment is designed to achieve registration for foil stamping and embossing operations in one pass. The longitudinal foil unwind system is equipped with three advance shafts (standard configuration, can be expanded to six shafts) to ensure smooth, accurate feeding of the foil with excellent tension. A foil rewinder is also available as an option.
“The software for the foiling system was developed by Masterwork and can handle even complex foil advance calculations – increasing efficiencies in foil usage. The foil tension is controlled with servo drives and a foil rewinder is available as an option. A hologram registration system can be added as well,” added Samir Patkar, president, Heidelberg India.
According to Heidelberg India, so far 14 Easymatrix machines have been installations in India at packaging converters like Parksons Packaging, TCPL Packaging, Replika, Pravesha Industries, JC Graphics and Galaxy Offset among others. Besides this, Heidelberg will showcase its Prinect software at the pre-press counter and also exhibit the subscription models and Prinect Pro-man software solutions. “Moreover we have our complete team of sales and Product specialists to assist on all our product verticals including pre-press, press, post-press and labelling solutions,” said Patkar.
“Our exclusive Saphira knowledge team will be available to support the customers with their need for the right pressroom chemistry, inks and coatings combination. Customers can also discuss with our unique subscription models in printing machines with required data. Now, we have our Heidelberg online shop with a variety of products available online. The customers can register themselves at our counter, and avail special benefits and gifts. We are also running a special PrintPack offer campaign for our Saphira consumables and services,” concluded Patkar.

The countdown to the PrintPack India 2019 has begun. The six-day show with more than 480 exhibitors and over 24,500 sqm of booked floorspace is set to commence on 1 February 2019 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.
