PrintPack 2019: Reprographic launches new print finishing equipment
Chennai-based dealers of printing blankets and print finishing equipment, Reprographic System and Supplies, launched four new products at PrintPack India 2019, which according to KJ Paul of Reprographic, is “an aim to provide its combined capabilities under one roof.”

The new launches included Continental Duo printing blanket, manual die-making equipment, Daiso cutter, paper cutting knives and sticks.
KJ Paul of Reprographic System and Supplies, said, “The Continental Duo blanket is highly compressible and comes at a competitive price and quality.”
Reprographic also highlighted the provision of its wide range of consumables and spare parts for top companies such as Heidelberg, Komori and Ryobi among others.
Paul added, “We have encountered 1000-plus customers at our stall as we provide facilities for various segments of the printing industry.”
The manual die-making equipment provided by Reprographic includes rule blender, rule flat cutter, rule lipper cutter, matrix cutter with chamfering, and nick grinder, among others.
Paul said, “The Manual die making equipment is a vital investment as the die is usually exposed to wear and tear and often gets spoiled, which can be easily rectified through a facility of an in-house bending, cutting and notching equipment.”
The cutting knives provided by Reprographic include Platina and PlatinaXHD series of paper cutting knives which are manufactured in solid alloy steel, cladded steel and is compatible with an array of cutting mahchines such as Welbound, Pivano, and Kolbus, among others.
The cutting sticks that Reprographic offers are also compatible to be used on numerous paper cutters and three knife trimmers.
Explaining the fucntioning of the cutting sticks, Paul said, “The plastic cutting stick is fitted into the slot in the cutting table of the cutter, the knife then peneterates the cutting stick at the end of its down stroke. This results in a clean, precise cut from the first to the last sheet of the paper pile.”
Reprographic also showcased its DigiNip rollers which are used to adjust the nip-pressure of rollers, along with its other consumables and products.
“We offer interntainal quality products along with our quality sales and sevices which include after-sales services such as training operators and educating,” added Paul.
