Venkatesh Prasanna, managing director of Zund India, said, “The S3 M800 small size digital cutting table is the most commonly used in the packaging industry. Generally, the maximum sheet sizes used for printing are of 1050mmx740mm and our cutting table suffices that requirement.”
Modular concept of Zund is about its ability to change the tools as per the substrate characteristics on the same cutting table. According to Prasanna, this is the USP of the Zund digital cutting tables. “One can easily place the order for the tools or the customer can reach out to us,” added Prasanna.
Also at the stall, Zund is demonstrating the Zund Design Centre (ZDC) software. It has an inbuilt Adobe Illustrator, a readymade library with parametric function. “The ZDC has predefined set of layouts for POP, POS displays. User doesn’t have to spend time on designing; instead he can use the layouts and start the production,” added Prasanna.
The parametric function of the ZDC ensures that product to be cut can be scaled as per the requirement and also ensures the load bearing capacity of the end product.
Dot Keys, who is into outsourcing business, has recently opted for the Zund S3M 800.
