In the last four days, PrintWeek reported deals signed by Focus Print & Pack, Hyper Pack, Incite Home Care Products, Miracle Group and Aggarwal Pack Products. The other two companies which signed the deal are: Sanraj Box & Manufacturer and Meera Offset.
According to Venugopal Menon, zone business director for the Indian Subcontinent at Bobst, it was clear that our customers felt they gained a unique perspective on their business. “As one of our customers quoted at the show, it’s all about productivity, reliability and longevity of the asset. We have always thought that Bobst is an investment and not an expense.”
Menon added, “What we bring to the table is machines’ abilities to cater to almost every segment of the industry, be it food, pharma or FMCG. Also, these machines are future-ready to meet the challenges of changing requirements of the brand owners driven by market and consumer needs.”

Suraj Sharma, regional sales manager for West and East India at Bobst informed PrintWeek that for both Rajkot-based Sanraj Box & Manufacturer and Mumbai’s Meera Offset it will be its second Bobst folder-gluer machine. Sanraj installed the first machine an Ambition 76 A1 kit in 2017 while Meera’s was installed in 2014.
“Both the companies evaluated options available in the market but found the Novafold 110 A2 fit nicely into their scheme of things. “The Novafold 110 A2 can produce cartons at a speed of 350 m/min. It comes with the flexibility to process speciality 4- and 6-corner boxes and 3-ply micro-flute corrugated cartons,” Sharma said.

Apart from the sales team, the Bobst services and performance team ran an exclusive campaign for ten days offering attractive promotions which lead to exceptional sales - from machine upgrades to the sale of consumables.
“The show has been very lucrative for the services team this year with orders flowing in of substantial values,” said Gurvinder Singh, area service manager, Bobst. “It was a great show, we closed substantial deals on upgrades and consumables, and it reinstated our valued customer's confidence in our services.”
