According to Jitendra Patel, managing director, Excel Machinery, the company has been showcasing its die-cutters at the PrintPack India shows for the past couple of years. This time, the company launched an entirely new automatic blanking system that requires only one person to operate the machine.

Patel said that it took nearly four month to develop the new blanking system. “The show was very good for us. Quality of the visitors has also been very good, with many serious enquiries,” he added. “We can see that packaging is a really good line and there is scope for more growth.”

He also advocated the use of Made in India products. “Our machines are entirely manufactured in India. Although raw material shortage has been a problem, I believe that we will come out of this within three months,” he concluded.
