Nilesh Parmar of Pinnacle Technocrats told PrintWeek that the company received four bookings and two verbal confirmations for its high speed Adroit Z+ V-shape binding machine, whereas five bookings for its newly introduced TH 400 SLV machine.

Meanwhile, Djawad Khorosh, CEO of Layflat.com said that the company received multiple bookings for its binding machines, but refrained from revealing the names of the companies.

Pinnacle and Layflat.com are shareholders and the machines sold under the Layflat.com brand globally. Although the classic layflat technology is popular overseas, the V-shape binding technology is very popular in India. Parmar is the brains behind the patented-technology, which is also used in some of the products marketed by Layflat.com.

Layflat.com, which was established in 2020, has notched over 200 installations for its classic layflat machines and around 800 V-shape machines worldwide. In India, however, there have been over 600 installations of V-shape machines, which are handled by the Pinnacle team.

Additionally, the PrintPack India show was also the launch pad for Layflat.com’s LF600 mB bookbinding system. Khorosh said that the machine was tailored for the needs of Indian binders.

“The PrintPack India 2022 show was an incredible show. It was a success for us (Layflat.com) and Pinnacle,” Khorosh said, adding, “The commercial printing industry in India should look into V-shape technology and the layflat technology and find new markets for them to differentiate.”
