PrintPack 2022: Vijaya launches carton-erecting machine

The newly-launched machine is capable of producing paper boxes, such as hamburger boxes, four corner trays, sweet boxes, serving trays for French fries and meal boxes.

It is equipped with servo-drive feeder, chain station, touch screen operated and servo-driven erecting unit, easy adjustable collecting unit and other features.

The approximately 1,800-kg heavy machine can handle 200 to 600-gsm substrates at the speed from 60 to 160 boxes/min.

Prashantha Kumar of Vijaya Grafiks said, “The consumer demand is changing because of food habits and our lifestyle. So are packaging needs. The industry is demanding green and sustainable solutions for ready-to-eat-food packaging, and considering the demand we have launched the automatic carton erecting machine in the exhibition. It is an indigenous equipment for modern demand.”

Vijaya is completing 21 years of its establishment this year. It has more than 700 installations in India and overseas.
