The company supplies consumables to the printing and packaging industry, with a focus on the offset printing and die-making industries. Nitin Ahuja of And Systems said, “Our products include printing blankets, coating blankets, auto washcloths, and die-cutting items.”

Ahuja said, “The industry is facing challenges, and the situation remains poor, even today. There's a lot to improve. As a consumables supplier, I will keep focusing on our core products: printing blankets and die-cutting equipment.”

When asked if he had any advice for Indian printers, Ahuja said, “The top-level printers in India are already making strides on the global stage. Many are printing for pharmaceutical companies and exporters. There is also packaging export happening to Africa, Pakistan, and other regions. I believe Indian printers will continue to grow and gain recognition internationally.”

And Systems and Vinayak Graphic Solutions are collaborators. Subrata Maitra, based in Navi Mumbai, supplies offset chemicals, Tesa mounting plates, creasing solutions, online press solutions, steel rules for dies, flexo cleaning solutions, offset rollers, and calibrated underpacking papers

Maitra said, “I also promote processless plates and a single-step fountain system that eliminates the use of alcohol, which is hazardous in the printing industry. We also offer high-quality cleaning washes and coating solutions for packaging.”

Vinayak Graphic Solutions works through a dealer network in Kerala, West Bengal, Hyderabad, and Vijayawada. “I also have around 40 to 50 direct customers in India,” Maitra said.

Both And Systems and Vinayak Graphic Solutions play vital roles in supporting the printing and packaging industry by providing consumables and solutions.

Ahuja’s focus on core products, such as printing blankets and die-cutting equipment, reflects his commitment to addressing the ongoing challenges in the industry. Meanwhile, Subrata Maitra’s promotion of eco-friendly solutions, such as processless plates and alcohol-free fountain systems, showcases a progressive approach to sustainability.

Despite difficulties, both companies share optimism about the future growth of the Indian printing sector, particularly its increasing global recognition in pharmaceutical, packaging, and export markets.
