P Sajith, managing director at Bindwel Technologies, expressed his excitement about the PrintPack 2025 showcases: “The Sprint, Relay, and Marathon systems represent our commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the printing industry. These kits offer flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability, which are critical in today’s market. We are confident that these innovations will resonate strongly with visitors at PrintPack 2025.”
In addition to its binding systems, Bindwel is showcasing its Freedom 2K Binders, tailored for short-run production, and the Insta and Trimit 30SRS systems, which are redefining micro and bespoke publishing. According to Sajith, these innovations are a direct response to the growing demand for "shorter runs" and "customised printing," particularly in educational and niche publishing markets.
Bindwel’s collaboration with leading inkjet solution providers such as Technova, Atexco, Monotech-Pressline, Orient and HP India, demonstrates seamless integration between inkjet printing and post-press processes. The company’s "one-book solutions" platform, which enables personalised printing, is expected to draw significant attention, further positioning India as a global leader in this space.
Sajith noted, “The digital print market is growing at an unprecedented rate, and India is at the forefront of this transformation. Our one-book solutions platform is a game-changer, allowing publishers and printers to deliver highly customised products efficiently. We look forward to showcasing its potential at PrintPack 2025.”
Bindwel emphasised its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of printing and packaging by introducing machines with the "lowest in-class footprint". Features such as precise adhesive consumption, energy monitoring, and waste reduction are highlighted as critical steps towards greener manufacturing.
The company will also advocate for reducing single-use plastics in book packaging, promoting alternatives to stretch films and tapes. While adoption remains gradual, Bindwel’s efforts align with the industry’s broader shift towards sustainable practices. Sajith added, “Sustainability is no longer optional; it’s a necessity. Our machines are designed to help customers make greener choices without compromising on efficiency or quality.”
Bindwel has unveiled its Vision 2030 roadmap at PrintPack 2025 as part of its long-term strategy. The plan focuses on empowering printers with advanced tools to meet evolving customer demands, particularly in the areas of automation, sustainability, and digital integration.
Key trends shaping the industry's future include the global shift back to printed books in education, the growing demand for textbooks in large markets like the US, and the rising preference for shorter print runs and customised printing. Bindwel’s versatile solutions, such as the Sprint-Bind framework, are designed to address these opportunities while maintaining the strengths of offset printing for long and medium runs.
Sajith concluded, “The printing industry's future is dynamic and full of potential. With Vision 2030, we aim to equip our customers with the tools they need to thrive in this rapidly changing landscape. PrintPack 2025 is the perfect platform to share our vision and innovations with the industry.”
