Tushar Pande, director of Emerging Graphics, said, “We are introducing Focus’ inkjet printer, the Cobra-691s. This is a small format inkjet printer for corrugated boxes, which prints at 1,200-dpi using HP printheads and prints in a single pass for a print width of up to 17-inches.”
The Cobra-691s offers printing for water-absorbent materials like corrugated boxes, paper bags, and cups. It accommodates print widths up to 610-mm with adjustable speeds from 20 to 80-metres per minute.
The printer uses the HP Pagewide Bubble-Jet technology and supports CMYK dye and pigment inks. The weighs 195-kilogrammes, and requires no rasterised image processing (RIP) software. Its features include laser positioning, a rotating touchscreen, self-learning paper detection, and options like variable data printing and platform suction.
Emerging Graphics is also showcasing its IECHO BK4-1312 digital cutting machine, and its pre-press software range, including the EngView CAD Software and the PaSharp Graphic Suite.
In terms of his expectations from PrintPack 2025, Pande said that the goal is to generate leads and promote the inkjet industry in 2025. Interestingly, the company’s stall was completely made out of paper and corrugated honeycomb boards. He said, “No plastic was used in building this stall.”
Emerging Graphics has been a regular exhibitor at PrintPack since 2015. The company is headquartered in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and manufactures products for packaging design, packaging pre-press, security printing, and digital finishing.
