Surat-based Rangam Creation has purchased the iEcho BK4-1312 high-speed digital cutting system from Emerging Graphics at PrintPack 2025. Rangam Creation manufactures boxes for the textile, fragrance, and pharmaceutical industries. The company works mostly with mono-cartons.
Rangam Creation has a 22,000-sqft factory, with a full post-press set-up. It has two automatic die-cutting machines, four foiling machines, three Scodix, two automatic screen printing machines, and one lamination machine.
When asked why he chose this machine from Emerging Graphics, Tanay Mehta, director of Rangam Creation said, “We chose this machine because it is useful for sampling, which clears many concepts for us in terms of dies, and finishing. It allows for a perfect print and sampling thereafter.”
There are three such machines in Surat, and by word of mouth, Mehta came to Tushar Pande, director of Emerging Graphics.
Mehta said, “We will be able to produce samples with zero waste. Currently, we are spending a lot of time and material to get good samples. This machine will help us achieve zero-waste and accuracy in the samples.”
The iEcho BK4 can do processes like cutting, kiss cutting, milling, V-groove, creasing, and marking. The model that Mehta has purchased has a cutting area of 1,300 by 1,200-mm. It has a maximum cutting thickness of 50 mm.
Mehta said that this machine is the first step in his expansion plans. This is a part of pre-press, and now I am going for E-flute and F-flute corrugation machines. I purchased a flute laminator and a folder-gluer from Khyati Entreprises too.”
Mehta has also purchased software from Emerging Graphics — the EngView Package and Display Designer. This is a computer-aided design software that has more than 2,200 parametric structures for boxes and displays. It is integrated with Adobe Illustrator and has a 3D rendering of the designs, complete with animations and finishing effects. This is a Bulgaria-based software.
Pande said, “We are happy with his trust in us and our product which was a recommendation from our existing customers. This assures us that people are satisfied with what we are delivering to them.”
