PrintPack 2025: Epson showcases its newest label press

At PrintPack 2025, Epson India showcased its existing machine SurePress L-6534VW. It was also showcased at the Labelexpo India in 2024. 

Commenting on the feedback received, Eisuke Morishita of Epson India, said, “The feedback has been brilliant. We have got a lot of new customers, especially for the offset and traditional sheetfed printers. 

Morishita added that the response has been exactly what the company anticipated. The company closed a sale for SurePress L-6534VW at PrintPack 2025, it is also eyeing more sales before the exhibition concludes. 

When asked which product vertical is the most sought-after for investments, he shared, “The highest growth is in the packaging, labelling and flexible packaging segment.”

For 2025, the company will be opening its demo centre in Okhla, Delhi, for packaging and labelling. The centre should be operational before March 2025; the centre will aid in finalising innovative options in packaging and labelling before investments. The company is also providing innovative ideas and suggestions for label converters and commercial printers to maximise technology to deliver something innovative and unique. The company foresees the demo centre to be a good tool. 

Sharing insights on how India can emerge as a great potential market for printing and packaging, he shared that local consumption in India is high, and cost is a critical factor for the Indian market. Morishita added, “Some of our innovative solutions have been locally implemented and these can be replicated in other areas as well.”

Regarding sustainability, he said, “Epson is one of the pioneers in spearheading sustainability initiatives.” The company’s core motto is to make products that are environment-friendly, power efficient, smaller footprint, have higher recyclability, and extended product life. 

The company also offers sustainable ink solutions.
