Excel Machinery reported strong sales at PrintPack India 2025, with multiple deals signed during the exhibition. The company’s Exb 35 model with extended height drew particular interest, reflecting a growing demand for efficiency in die-cutting operations.
“Our Exb 35 model now features an additional foot in height, allowing for increased sheet capacity in the feeder and delivery sections,” said Jitendra Patel, managing director of Excel Machinery. “This reduces downtime and improves productivity. We booked our first machine with this feature at the event.” Though the machine was launched in 2005, Patel said, it still remains in high demand.
Patel also confirmed that all the three machines on display at its PrintPack stand have been sold.
With over two decades in the industry, Excel Machinery has established itself as a key player in the die-cutting segment. The company has installed 396 machines so far, bulk of which have been the Exb 35 model. The company’s 28x40-inch HS 1020, running at rated speeds of 7,500 sheets per hour, has 21 installations. “These numbers reflect the reliability and efficiency of our machines in production environments,” Patel said.
Reiterating Excel Machinery’s commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Patel said, “We want Indian machine manufacturers to grow, and we encourage the industry to focus on domestic production rather than imports. Supporting local manufacturing will strengthen India’s industrial base and foster long-term growth.”
On sustainability, Patel highlighted the company’s eco-friendly initiatives. “We have integrated solar power at our production facility, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable manufacturing,” he said. “Our focus remains on innovation and efficiency, and we are well-positioned for further expansion in the Indian market.”
Patel was also conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) during the event held on the sidelines of PrintPack.
