PrintPack 2025: JK Steel Enterprises launches manual machines

The company will set up a laser machine facility in 2025 and start manufacturing laser machines by 2026.

At PrintPack 2025, JK Steel Enterprises launched some manual machines. These machines are being manufactured for the first time in India, earlier the machines were imported from China. 

When asked about any business deals, Chirag Ohri of JK Steel Enterprises shared that currently, the market is going through a dull phase.  

Commenting on investments, he said, “We are constantly upgrading and adding newer machinery.” 

Adding further, Ohri said that the company is looking to invest in laser machines. He said, “The Indian government has banned the import of laser machines.” The company intends to manufacture laser machines by 2026. 

The company will be setting up a facility for laser machines in 2025. 

Sharing his views on how India can emerge as a great potential market for printing and packaging, Ohri mentioned that there should be more advertisements and exhibitors should have more incentives.

On the sustainability front, Ohri shared that in green practices, the industry is not using any plastic materials and are opting for paper bags.
