Bindwel’s star products at PrintPack 2024 are Insta (one book model) and Freedom 2K (short-run book solution). These will be shown under the zone for short-run solutions, within the company’s large array of products and solutions. The Insta (one book model) was launched at Drupa 2024. Its first demonstration in India will be at Printpack 2025. The Freedom 2K is already in the market, with installations at SAP Print, Mumbai and Saurabh Print, Noida. Both products will have live demonstrations at the show, highlighting their capabilities in real-time production scenarios. The company will also discuss the ecosystem surrounding short-run, so that its customers understand the workflow and business model better. The Insta (one book model) produces single books on demand, making it ideal for on-demand, personalised, ultra-low-volume orders. On the other hand, the Freedom 2K is a solution for short-run book production, optimised for runs of up to 2,000 copies while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. Besides these, the company will have four zones to showcase diverse solutions. These include the digital post-printing zone (SigLoch from Bindwel); the short-run zone; the hybrid solutions zone, and the educational/textbook production zone.
Bobst | Hall: 14 / Stall: I24
At PrintPack 2025, Bobst will exhibit its Novacut 106 3.0 Autoplaten die-cutter with the new auto-register contactless system. The Accuregister was introduced to the market in 2022 with benefits such as no sheet edge contact, high-performance cameras and a wide correcting range. It will be demonstrated live during the show days. Mandar Patwardhan of Bobst said, “The Accuregister is a contactless registration system for Bobst that helps improve packaging production. The Novacut 106E provides room for both die-cutter versatility and productivity. It can reduce machine stoppages by up to 80% at critical points enabling streamlined production.”
The high-performance cameras and their sheet performance range enable cut-to-print accuracy and operational flexibility. The Accuregister system traces its roots to the power register system introduced in the 2000s. Over 25 years of development, Accuregister has evolved to offer precision and efficiency. It has been developed to work seamlessly with Novacut and Visioncut 106 die-cutters and is capable of processing a wide range of substrates, including cartons, solid boards, corrugated boards and paper. The Accuregister can correct sheets up to about six-mm in the forward direction and 13-mm in the lateral direction. It can also reduce setting times and feed-related stops. It integrates into the Bobst Connect system to provide equipment production and efficiency data.
