PrintPack 2025: Print Plus signs deal for Bindwel Bindline
Print Plus, the Mumbai-based book printer and exporter, has signed an agreement with Bindwel Technologies to acquire the latest Bindline system. The deal was formalised at PrintPack 2025, with Print Plus managing director Dinesh Gajaria and CEO Ramachandran present at the signing ceremony.

The decision followed an extensive evaluation process. Print Plus executives visited Bindwel’s stand at Drupa 2024 to assess its latest bookbinding advancements. The team toured Bindwel’s manufacturing facility in Bengaluru before finalising the purchase.

We are addressing the needs of many leading multinational Publishers in India, in addition to overseas customers”
Founded in 2008, Print Plus serves domestic and international markets with a range of web offset machines. The ISO 9001:2015-certified company is known for quick turnaround times and competitive pricing. The investment in the Bindline system is expected to strengthen its binding capabilities further.
Speaking to PrintWeek from Mumbai, the director of Print Plus, Revathy Ganapathy said, “The strengthened partnership between Print Plus and Bindwel exemplifies a shared vision of innovation and excellence, setting a new benchmark in the printing and bookbinding sectors.
The new system includes the Signa Gatherer with BSRS Image Recognition System for precise signature collation, the high-speed Freedom 5K perfect binder, and the Trimit 50C three-knife trimmer for accurate finishing.
Anilkumar Nair, the director for sales at Bindwel, said “The collaboration between Print Plus and Bindwel spans over a decade, during which Print Plus has integrated various Bindwel solutions into their operations, including offline binders, trimmers, and an earlier version of the Bindline.
