The products on display include torque tester, tear resistance tester, specimen maker (fluter), sample cutter, cobb and moisture tester among others.

The company also claims to have solutions for quick job changing in die-making and die-cutting. Saurashtra has its manufacturing unit at Pune that annually manufactures 100 machines for the domestic and international markets, which are TAPPI and AST certified. The company’s marketing offices are located in Delhi and Mumbai.

Amar Shah, director at Saurashtra, said: "The knowledge base of the Indian printers is on the rise and apparently the quality levels are also steadily growing. The fast pace of technological changes, its dynamics, demand of quality, safety and environment concerns are forcing the printers to opt for certification system and process that needs stringent testing and controls.

Exposure to the international market has played a major role in the growth of testing equipments and so has been the contribution of overseas players.

Saurashtra Systopack has an installation base of over 20,000 testing equipment operational across the globe, which according to Shah is "indicative of its products strength".
