"Tony Clark had developed a notebook like tensile page pull device. A corporate quality control manager could now take this unique testing device into every binding facility. Welbound is now re-printing this book," said P Sajith, marketing director of Welbound, who jointly edited the book with Ramu Ramanathan, editor of PrintWeek India.

"Many printers in India lack understanding of the binding process. It is necessary to understand adhesives, its properties and methods of manufacturing," said Sajith. "There are bookbinders who used to test the viscosity of the protein glues between their fingers. Some old-timers tried that trick with hotmelt, only once!. "

In Bookbinding with Adhesives, Clark has explained the basics of adhesives bookbinding  and has also described the tends in technology. "This book has covered everything that an operators needs to know – paper grain-direction, poor signature handling, spine preparations, one and two shot applications, book testing and best of all, 26 pages of fault finding illustrations and description," concluded Sajith.

The book is available at the Welbound stall in Hall 7E / Stall E1, E2,E4 and E5.
