PrintWeek August issue celebrates excellence

With the gala award night for PrintWeek Awards 2024 set to be held on 23 September 2024, the cover story of the August 2024 issue PrintWeek focuses on celebrating the excellence and clout of the industry.

Considered to be the industry benchmark, the PrintWeek Awards is the flagship event of the PrintWeek and WhatPackagaing? (under the aegis of Haymarket SAC), the country’s voice for the printing and packaging industry. This year, PrintWeek Awards received more than 700 samples from more than 100 companies before the submission deadline closed on 10 August.

Drupa 2024 is over but its impact lingers. In the August issues, two months after the show, 25 exhibitors reflect on the visitor turnover, technological advancements, trends and insights, sustainability and safety, and offer advice to new exhibitors. 

In other Drupa-related features, Amit Sehgal, senior manager of large-format printers at Epson India, discussed Epson’s showcase at Drupa 2024 with Noel D’Cunha.

Eight years later, when Drupa 2024 finally happened, it left a resounding mark on the printing and packaging industry. Priyatosh Kumar, associate director and head of graphic communications and device technology business at Fujifilm India spoke to i about the company’s experience at the event.

In the August issue of WhatPackaging? magazine, which comes complimentary with PrintWeek, the cover story is UFlex’s two-step plan for Flex Films. Anantshree Chaturvedi met up with Rahul Kumar on the sidelines of Drupa at the UFlex stall.
