PrintWeek Award has Valco Melton support

Supporting the PrintWeek Awards for the first time, Ravi Kiran, director at Valco Melton India Engineering, said, it’s an event which brings the industry one the same platform. “It’s important to recognise the quality work that the Indian print community is putting in. It provides a boost to produce better quality products.”

Valco Melton’s acquisition of Italy-based Ero, a manufacturer of gluing and inspection systems, has led to Valco Melton promoting Ero’s products in India. Kiran said, “These systems mainly cater to the folding carton and corrugated industries. In a short span of time, we have been able to sell quite a few machines.”

According to Kiran, the corrugated industry is growing considerably and consistently. His advice to the industry is: “Invest in quality machines. Focus on differentiation and add value to the products. It will attract new customers.”
