The second sample, Oaken Glow whisky pack was a visual delight. Value-addition of the carton produced on uncoated side of the virgin board. The major challenge was execution foil stamping on the uncoated coarse side of the board. The tender graphics comprising of shades of brown gave the carton a natural clement look. The brand logo is highlighted by the copper coloured foil. Reverse printing with solid creamy brown colour made the carton a complete package. The structural design consisting of sleeve to hold the neck of the bottle and auto-lock bottom made the filling easier at the user-end.
The Black Dog got two new versions aimed at modernising the pack and provide consumers an elevated experience and making it a choice of drink for the next generation of enthusiasts. The company used variety of printing technology and combination. The brand launched two different variants Black Reserve and Triple Gold Reserve.
The Triple Gold Reserve was initially printed using metallic silver ink on the gravure press in order to give a gleaming base effect and then overprinted with typical brand colour through offset UV printing technology. The Black Reserve variant on the other hand as its name implies was given a black background with a blend of mild colours printed using offset technology. Gloss drip-off effect has been strategically placed to give the pack a premium finish and enhance the branding. Classy copper foil and embossing finish adds further enhancement to the brand.
The fourth, MOD limited edition festive gift pack for the Mad Over Donuts brand was a delightful and fascinating packaging, said the judges.
