Strict health and safety protocol was maintained. The group supported members with step-by-step guidance, templates, and advice to ensure departments and the factory-floor took the necessary steps to help protect their team members and their business.
A raft of strict cleaning and hygiene measures were put in place, with the staff following a rigorous Covid-19 system. This included reconfigured and recalibrated air canteens as well as shopfloors. To further minimise physical touchpoints throughout the exhibition, health and safety became paramount.

  • Medical tests
  • Fumigation of newspaper delivery vehicles
  • Insurance policy
  • Mobile clinics
  • Health camps

The aim was to ensure everyone followed the latest guidance thereby safeguarding each and every member (staff, newspaper vendor and customer) of the Mathrubhumi family.

The message was very clear. Don’t panic. Be vigilant.
